Curbside service planned for two Central Markets in Dallas

Shopping for groceries will become more convenient as Central Market will be trying out curbside service delivery in the Lone Star State, including two Dallas locations.

On February 15, Central Market debuted this new service at a store in Fort Worth and plans to spread its curbside service to select stores across the state. In addition to the two Dallas stores already in line, a Plano store and locations in Austin and Houston are definitely in the works as well.

Customers put together their grocery lists, go online to place their orders and schedule a pick-up time. Central Market employees fill the order, pack it and load it in the customer’s car. Pickups can be made between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm and orders need to be placed no more than four hours prior to being picked up, and no more than seven days in advance.

To kick-off their new service, Central Market will fill a customer’s initial four deliveries without charge. Thereafter, a pickup fee of $4.95, as well as a personal shopping fee of 3% of their order total, will be added.

Flyer printing services can create handouts to place in shoppers’ grocery Bags prior to the start of a new service. No date has been revealed for when the Dallas locations will start pickup delivery service.
