A modest yet upscale restaurant and bar, Dahlia Bar & Bistro, is opening in Dallas this fall at 3300 Ross Ave.
Dahlia is the latest eatery from the successful team of restauranteurs Chris and Mark Beardon, who own several restaurants and bars including Felix Culpa, which is located on Henderson Avenue. The Beardons will be including bistro fare and will offer a large wine selection, as well as floral influenced craft cocktails.
The Ross Avenue property has seen several tenants over the years. The last business to operate at the location was Ross & Hall, which closed in May of this year, and prior to that Little Woodrow’s occupied the property.
Restaurants tend to take the design of their Menus seriously, and many turn to printing services for help in creating a unique, one of a kind menu design.
The Beardons are aiming for the casual ambiance that is normally associated with a neighborhood bar. The food will have a Southern European-inspired theme, drawing from French, Italian, and Spanish cuisine with Mediterranean accents, and will include familiar and not-so-familiar dishes.
Dahlia Bar & Bistro will be 3,800 square feet with a 35-seat bar. Additionally, there will be a 1,600 square foot patio and a cocktail garden. It is presently under construction and is expected to open this fall.
