Amazon to deliver 13,000 holiday jobs to Dallas
Amazon is shopping for employees to the tune of 250,000 nationwide, 13,000 of which it hopes to add to its Dallas payroll.
Dallas will be the recipient of almost half of the 28,000 positions the e-retail giant wishes to fill in the Lone Star State, with full-time, seasonal, and part-time positions available across its operations network.
Among the many products provided by local printing services are employee handbooks and the forms required when bringing new hires on board.
In a statement Amazon SVP John Felton said:
The company’s operation network include picking, packing customer orders as well as sorting and shipping them and other positions in hundreds of locations throughout the country. Applicants from all experience and background levels are welcome.
Hourly pay for those employees hired for customer fulfillment and transportation averages over $20.50 and may be as high as $28 in certain locations. New employees can, according to Felton, expect to receive a 13% pay increase across the next three years. This will be in addition to other benefits such as pre-paid college tuition and immediate healthcare benefits.
