No sooner are the holidays gone than Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and that means that Cedar Park sweethearts may be scrambling to try and plan a special outing. The Austin Steam Train Association can come to the rescue, and is offering an event couples can long remember.
The Hill Country Flyer will be making a special Valentine’s Day run, and romance will be in the air during the excursion. Both wine and beer will be available for purchase, and during a two-hour layover in Burnet, passengers can disembark and explore the community.
The train will follow a route that winds through Hill Country, and the organizers noted that it offers spectacular views of the area’s landscape. During the stop, the riders can enjoy a bite to eat and visit the small shops and other establishments that can be found in Burnet. It was suggested that anyone who plans on purchasing lunch make their reservations at a Burnet restaurant well ahead of time.
Tickets for this special outing are on sale now, and their price starts at $39. Corporate Gifts such as glassware and other items printed with the organizer’s Logo Design can be prepared by a Print shop to sell during this sort of event, and these can be welcome souvenirs of the occasion.
This special run of the Hill Country Flyer will be hitting the rails on February 15. Passengers will be welcome to arrive for the ride staring at 8:00 am.
