Cedar Park Parks & Recreation will be celebrating the upcoming 4th of July in style with its Cedar Sparktacular summer festival.
This year’s Sparktacular will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence. The festival will include a carnival-style midway with rides, inflatable playhouses for the children, and other attractions. Visitors can get drinks and a bite to eat from local food trucks and vendors such as Christen’s Gourmet Pralines, Hungry J’s Pizza, and Casey’s New Orleans Snowballs.
There will be live music from local musical artists throughout the evening. Once the sun sets, the sky will be filled with fireworks celebrating the holiday, which will be followed by the outdoor screening of a family-friendly movie. The Sparktacular has become a popular annual attraction, with last year’s event featuring a performance by Suede Band and a screening of Despicable Me 4.
Local community services like Cedar Park Public Library and Milburn Pool will be on hand to connect with attendees and provide wristbands to help children avoid getting lost. Community organizers and vendors like this often make use of brochure printing and other handouts at events like this to help reach new people. Parking will be available at nearby public schools.
The 2026 Cedar Sparktacular will take place on the evening of July 4 at Milburn Park.
