All Elite Wrestling will be bringing its flagship show Dynamite to Cedar Park for a special TV taping this February, featuring some of the top names in professional wrestling.
The show will feature athletic exhibitions between some of the top names on AEW’s roster, which includes faces familiar to wrestling fans like Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho and Mercedes Mone, as well as rising stars like Darby Allin, Konosuke Takeshita and Mariah May. Dynamite is normally broadcast live, but this edition will be taped and aired on TBS the following night. The show typically features the week’s biggest matches as well as in-ring promos and segments designed to advance pro wrestling storylines.
AEW live events typically also include exclusive “Dark” matches for the live audience, as well as taped matches for partner promotion Ring of Honor. These matches may feature local independent wrestlers or homegrown Texas stars like Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara and Athena. Wrestling shows like this typically use methods like poster printing and local media appearances to help attract ticket-buyers. Texas has been a frequent destination in recent years, with the Cedar Park show designed in part to build excitement to the promotion’s biggest ever American show, All In: Texas, in Arlington’s Globe Life Field the following July.
AEW Dynamite will take place at the HEB Center in Cedar Park on February 11.
