Day of fun planned for Cedar Park

Kids of all ages, whether they are 1 or 101, will be congregating in Cedar Park’s Elizabeth Milburn Park for five hours of fun, and the entire event will have a medieval theme.

The city has organized a day that will be both educational and entertaining, with an extensive list of activities on offer. Some of these will be ticketed and these passes may be purchased on site, while others will be free of charge.

The plans for the day will see a variety of stations set up for the attendees to explore, and pony rides, inflatables, arts and crafts tables, and a petting zoo are all in the works. Local arts and crafters will be setting up shop, and food can be purchased at the venue. Demonstrations of jousting and other skills will take place, and live entertainment, including a costume contest, will round out the celebration.

One of the ways the host of an event can help to build an exciting atmosphere is by choosing to use themed decor. This will be available at area banner printing companies, which will be able to offer custom options to their clients.

This chance for Cedar Park families to enjoy a day of fun in the sun will kick off at 11:00 am on October 29. The proceeds will benefit the Cedar Park Library Foundation and its literacy programming.
