The Cedar Fest BBQ Cook-Off & Festival will be hosted in Cedar Park this March, kicking off the warm-weather season with a public fair.
The event challenges local chefs, food truck owners, and more to showcase their grilling skills in a competition that will stretch across two days. The best dishes will be determined by a panel of KCBS certified judges, in categories such as chicken, pork ribs, and brisket, as well as a “cook’s choice” meal. The second day will also include a festival atmosphere with a classic carnival midway including rides and inflatables, and a wider variety of food and drink options. There will be a marketplace of vendors offering arts and crafts goods. Artisans and small businesses often offer Promotional Products or special discounts at festivals like this to help celebrate the occasion.
The Fest is hosted by the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce, with the goal of promoting local businesses. Over 3000 attendees are expected during the festival. Cooks will have a full day of preparation, with a meeting and dinner among the head cooks. Up to 70 barbecuers will compete for $15, 000 in cash prizes, including a $3000 award for first place.
The 2025 Cedar Fest BBQ Cook-Off and Festival will take place on March 28 and 29 at Elizabeth Milburn Park in Cedar Park, Texas.
