The Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce will be putting local BBQ chefs to the test as part of an annual competition that brings the community together to celebrate.
There are 70 spaces available for BBQ teams in the cook-off, and there will be four categories to for them to compete in. They show off their talents in chicken, beef brisket, pork ribs and pork categories, and cash prizes will be presented to the winners.
The public is welcome to be a part of this culinary celebration, and they can sample the fare being cooked by the contestants. There will be lots of entertainment, including pony rides, games, music, train rides, and a petting zoo. Admission to the event grounds is free, and the organizers explained that they wished to thank the community sponsors for their support.
For a gathering of this type, the friendly competition can draw quite a crowd. A banner printing company can prepare Banners and other decor that can be used indoors or out, making it a good choice for this sort of large function.
This two-day celebration of BBQ cookery has been scheduled to run on April 3 and 4. Those who would like to be a part of the excitement can head to Elizabeth Milburn Park, which is where the event will be held.
