Cedar Park workshop to focus on outdoor portraiture

A Cedar Park workshop will soon be giving photographers an opportunity to gain skills and experience in outdoor picture-taking, and both professionals and amateurs are encouraged to take part.

This in-person learning opportunity will be offered in Bushy Creek Lake Park. Limited to eight learners, it will offer practical tips for capturing outdoor portraits using natural light, and there will be opportunities for the group to gain hands-on experience in a variety of locations.

The class will open with a discussion of how to choose a setting that has good lighting, and pointers for choosing the best focal length for portraiture shots is on the agenda. They will receive tips for capturing the subject in an assortment of poses, and a professional model will be lending her services to the occasion. The organizer explained that the function offers a good starting point for anyone who would like to build their photography skills, and they are asked to bring their own equipment.

Hosting a learning opportunity like this can be made easier thanks to support from local Print shops. They can supply everything from Signs to business Forms, as well as a full line of making materials.

This activity, which is being hosted by Precision Camera and Video, will be held on April 10 at Bushy Creek Lake Park. It will begin at 4:30 pm, and additional details can be found on the Stay Happening website.
