NerdWallet has rated the Texas community as the best in the country in which to start a new restaurant. Its survey considered several variables, including having a population that tops 50,000, having a strong economy, and the demand that currently exists for new eateries. The median annual income of the population, the expected growth in the number of residents, and annual sales for the eating establishments that are already there were also accounted for.
According to the results, Cedar Park has been experiencing a period of rapid growth, which means that there will be a large customer base for new restaurants. Since it is also close to the major urban center of Austin, it is in proximity to many people who might be looking for a new eatery to try. This can have spin-off benefits for other businesses as well, including printing companies, which provide materials and supplies to the food service industry.
The study further concluded that since the projected growth rate for the next several years for Cedar Park continues to be strong, the demand for new and innovative eating places should also continue to rise.
