Kicking off at the end of this month, a Cedar Park program has been set up that will make reading even more fun.
Everyone from babies up to the senior set is encouraged to participate in the Cedar Park Library Summer Adventure and Reading Challenge. To add an extra touch of excitement, special perks are being offered to the registrants.
To get started, people will need to register, upon which they will receive further instructions on how to log their reading minutes. The listing clarifies that magazines, Books, and newspapers may all be counted as reading material, and time spent reading together can be clocked for both the reader and listener alike.
As they follow the program, participants will receive badges, and once they have earned their first one, they will be invited to drop by the library to pick up a bag of specially selected Promotional Products, which will be available for as long as supplies last. After this, subsequent badges can be used to enter the prize draws. Along with this program, the library has planned a schedule of other special summer activities.
This initiative designed to get Cedar Park reading will run from Tuesday, May 28 until Saturday, August 10. The library’s website provides more information, as well as a registration link to get started.
