The saying “it takes an entire community to raise a child” will be the spirit behind an upcoming fundraising gala planned in support of Cedar Park and area scholars.
The Leander Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) gala will whisk its guests back in time to the 1920s, and it will have a Great Gatsby theme. To help create a festive atmosphere, everyone is asked to wear period style dress or cocktail attire, with black tie optional.
The function, which will be taking place at The Crossover in Leander, will see the attendees mix and mingle, and they will be invited to enjoy a sit down dinner. Everyone can spend some time on the dance floor, and the live and silent auctions will add even more excitement to the occasion. Admission starts at $175 each, and there are various tickets and sponsorship packages available for any individual, group or company that would like to go the extra mile.
