An event that has Cedar Park buzzing will explore the art of beekeeping from both a beginner and experienced perspective.
It has lots to offer both newbies and those who have been apiarists for a long time, and there will be plenty of learning options for the attendees to choose from.
Those who are new to working with these tiny insects will be able to enjoy a full day of education during the 2020 Austin Area Beekeeping Seminar. It will give them and their charges a chance to hit the ground running, and they can walk away confident in their knowledge.
The experienced apiarists who register for the seminar can choose from 28 different workshops, and they will each run for 50 minutes. Everything from bee diseases to live bee removals, pheromones, and the control of varroa mites will be on tap for discussion, and it can help commercial and other beekeepers to take their operation to the next level.
The organizers of this educational function remarked that the funds that are raised will be used to support sustainable beekeeping, as well as local research into the health of these insects, and the day will kick off at 8:00 am. Promotional Products can be offered as swag during this type of function.
People are expected to “bee” arriving at the Austin Marriott North for this special event from a wide area, and it will be held on January 4. Both beginner and advanced track options are available.
