Cedar Park is celebrating the autumn season with a special outing. Families are invited to hop aboard The Pumpkin Express for a day of fall fun, and this steam powered locomotive will be pulling out of the station at 2:30 pm.
Austin Steam Train has planned its annual train ride to Bertram, and the round trip, including a stop at the historic train depot, will take approximately three hours. All ages are welcome, and tickets start at $45 each.
Once they have climbed aboard the train, the participants will be transported to Bertram depot, and here, they can tour the station and choose a pumpkin from its patch. Farmer Brown will be on hand to meet the kids and answer their questions, and fresh apple cider will be poured for the enjoyment of all of the guests.
Those who plan on taking part in the activity are reminded to pack a snack for the outing. A festive welcome banner can be prepared for this sort of occasion by a local banner printing company, and it can also supply Signs and other decorations that can make it even more fun for the families that attend the celebration.
The Pumpkin Express will be pulling out of the station located at 401 E. Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park. It will be making its annual run this Sunday, October 27.
