The ATX Television Festival is coming to Austin this summer. The festival takes place over four days while celebrating and exploring the world of television.
Panels, screenings, and other activities provide the opportunity to look back at the history of the TV medium. Discussions will also take place on the status of television now and what may occur in the future. Over 250 panelists will participate in this festival.
The ATX Festival, now in the eighth year, will feature panel discussions that will cover TV pilots that were not used, current programming, and reunions of successful shows from the past. Ratings systems, focus groups, and viewing of series finales are on the agenda.
The festival ensures an even split between industry professionals and fans, with creators and casts in attendance. Additionally, live music, parties and fun meet-ups take place. “Super secret happy hours” also add to the adventures of the festival.
Co-founders Emily Gipson and Caitlin McFarland work with studies, companies, and major networks to create the event each year.
Brochure printing by local Print shops provides a tool for marketing large events in advance and can be made available at the festival for informational purposes
The 2019 ATX Television Festival will take place in downtown Austin from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9. Entry badges may be purchased from the event website.
