The Blues on the Green festival will kick off live summer music in Austin next month. The eclectic festival is presented by Waterloo Media and is the city’s longest running free concert series.
Organizers of large outdoor music events such as this often use poster printing as part of their advertising and promotion.
Blues on the Green has attracted tens of thousands of fans each year for more than three decades. The festival exemplifies Austin’s branding as the Live Music Capital of the World, a title it has held since 1991, based on its number of music venues per capita.
What first started as a blues festival has evolved over the years to feature a diverse collection of Austin musicians from genres including rock, country, soul, blues and more.
Crowds of families and friends will gather on blankets and lawn chairs for two evenings of music under the Austin skyline. Vendors offering food and refreshments will be available at the festival venue, including drinks for those aged 21 and over.
Blues on the Green will be held June 9 and 10 in Zilker Park in the heart of Austin with music beginning at 7:00 pm each night. The concerts will be family friendly and open to all ages. Further information is available on the festival website with the full lineup of 2026 artists to be announced closer to the concert dates.
