2026 brings extra special July Fourth to Austin

The 2026 Star-Spangled Fest will be an historic celebration next month in Austin to commemorate America’s semiquincentennial.

The annual Star-Spangled Fest, like many community celebrations across the country this year, has partnered with America 250, to mark the important independence milestone.

Families can enjoy a full evening of games, live music, food, fun and festivities highlighted by the lakeshore firework display and performance by the Austin Symphony Orchestra.

Much of the outdoor event will be free to attend, but ticket packages are available that will provide additional perks and amenities.

A family picnic table package for groups of four adults and two children will provide ticket holders with table bar service, cooling fans and a cooler with water.

Larger groups can purchase VIP packages that provide extras such as designated areas near the stage and vendors, parking and an after party with snacks and music.

New to the festival year is an enhanced VIP cabana shoreline package. Groups of eight guests will have the best views of the performances and fireworks from furnished covered cabanas while enjoying refreshments from the nearby bar and food trucks.

Organizers of large community festivals such as this often use banner printing to bring attention to activities at the event.

The Star-Spangled Fest will be held at Vic Matias Shores in Austin on July 4,2026, beginning at 4:30 pm. Blankets or chairs are recommended for the free seating areas.
