Leading bull riders to saddle up in Austin

Professional bull riding teams will compete at Gambler Days in Austin next month.

The Austin PBR tournament is part of a 12-event season during which each team hosts a weekend of unique riding games and competition.

Unlike a rodeo, the PBR format focuses strictly on bull-riding with team members combining points as they fight for eight seconds atop the bucking bulls.

The sport began more than 30 years ago when 20 bull riders broke away from the rodeo circuit to compete in the single discipline. The team bull riding league started in 2022 and has grown to include ten teams that compete head-to-head throughout the year, culminating in a fall championship event in Las Vegas.

The Austin Gamblers were the PBR world team series champions in 2024 and finished second last year.

Gamblers Days spectators will not only experience the excitement of seeing the world’s best bull riders, but the event also provides high-intensity special effects and music. Fans can choose from either single-night tickets or a three-day pass.

Teams that present large sports events such as this often use banner printing as part of their advertising and promotion.

The PBR Gamblers Days will be held from August 21 to 23, 2026 at the Moody Center, 2001 Robert Dedman Drive in Austin. Further information is available online.
