A soul food festival will soon be arriving in Austin.
The Austin Soul Food Festival is an event dedicated to showcasing the best soul food in the city. During the event, more than 20 soul food vendors from across Texas will arrive in Austin to showcase their top recipes. The festival features a variety of soul food, including pork chops, fried chicken, turkey legs, and more. For those with a sweet tooth, there will be funnel cake and candied yams.
Vegan and keto food will also be on sale at the festival. There will be accessories, jewelry, and clothing vendors also on site. Since outside food and drink is not permitted, all items must be purchased on-site. The list of vendors is expanding, and there will be something for everyone. Vendors at events like this one often hand out promotional Pens to increase brand awareness.
This is a pet-friendly event. However, all pets must be on a leash or in the arms of their owner. Individuals are welcome to arrive early to avoid longer lines.
From 12pm until 6pm on May 26th, the festival will take place at the Republic Square. The event itself is free until May 5th. After May 5th, tickets will be available online for $5.
