Festive lights shine bright in Austin

More than 400,000 visitors are expected to attend the 60th annual Austin Trail of Lights taking place over 14 days next month.

The special light-up features two million festive lights displayed as part of an Austin’s largest community celebration.

Hosted by the Austin Trail of Lights Foundation, a non-profit organization, it has become one of the area’s most enduring holiday traditions. The foundation raises funds from individual and business donors to support its Stars at the Trail program, which provides free tickets to the light-up for thousands of area school district families.

For the past decade, Stars at the Trail has also worked with over 100 non-profit organizations to provide other families, veterans, seniors, and children with the opportunity to experience the massive festive display.

The event includes much more than holiday lights. Each night, local bands, dancers, choir, and solo artists will bring their talents to the stage. In addition, there will be a holiday market with displays, food trucks, and other vendors providing gifts and refreshment sales.

With such a large audience, the Austin Trail of Lights provides a significant opportunity for retailers to showcase their products. Participating businesses such as these often use printing services to provide Menus, product labels, and other printed materials.

The Trail of Lights will be open during evenings from December 10 to 23 in Zilker Park.
