Jack Ingram will give a performance in Austin in early June. This will take place at the venue Austin City Limits Live.
The country music legend’s total discography includes 19 singles, 11 studio albums, six live albums, and one extended play. Much of his earlier work did not receive significant attention. However, in 2005, his single “Wherever You Are,” which he released under the independent label Big Machine Records, managed to reach the #1 spot on the Billboard Country Charts. None of his other singles have gotten the same attention. However, six of his other singles have managed to crack the Top 40. For these efforts, Ingram has garnered two Academy of Country Music Awards, and a CMT Music Award. He has also been nominated for a Grammy.
In addition to his music work, Ingram has taken on several other projects. He has done voice imaging for several radio stations and at least one hosting job. Together with Matthew McConaughey and coach Mack Brown, he created a fundraising event for several children's charities. In addition, he also set a Guinness record for being interviewed over 215 times in a day.
