Classic rock singer to sing for Austin

Daryl Hall is scheduled to perform at Austin’s Moody Theater venue this May, for what will be the singer’s first tour in a decade.

Hall is best known as one of the performers in the pop-rock duo Hall & Oates. They were most popular in the 1970s and 1980s. During that time, they created several musical pieces that achieved great success, with 29 of their 33 singles reaching the US Top 40 and six of them peaking at number 1. Seven of the albums they created were certified Platinum. They have also been inducted into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, as well as receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Outside of his work in Hall & Oates, Hall has achieved his own successes. Many of his solo singles have charted on the Billboard Top 100. He has also collaborated with several top artists such as Dusty Springfield and Fripp. In addition, he received induction into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame as a solo act.

The Hall concert will take place on Sunday, May 22 at 310 Willie Nelson Blvd. The doors will open at 6:00 pm and the show will begin at 7:30 pm. Venues such as ACL Live may be interested in flyer printing services to promote their events.
