Big Brown to perform in Austin

Brendan Schaub will be completing a comedy performance in Austin this January. The show is being presented by Big Laugh Comedy.

Schaub, nicknamed "Big Brown," ventured into mixed martial arts (MMA). Engaging in The Ultimate Fighter (2005), he held a spot in the final fight and landed a contract. Within the UFC realm, he triumphed in six matches, notably defeating Mirko Cro Cop. Schaub chose to step away from fighting following a podcast chat with Joe Rogan in which he raised concern about his well-being and his discontent with the UFC.

Schaub was then led to refocus on his pursuits in acting, podcasting, and stand-up. He led “The Fighter and the Kid” podcast with actor and comedian Bryan Callen. He is also a frequent guest on The Joe Rogan Show.

The cost to attend the show will be $25. Tickets can be bought through the Big Laugh Comedy listing. Individuals with questions can contact the venue via phone at (512) 817-9535.
