Strunz & Farah, renowned virtuoso guitarists, are coming to Austin early in the new year.
Bringing their talents as heard on their popular studio recording, Tales of Two Guitars, the duo is expected to draw a crowd of fans.
The Tales of Two Guitars is famed for its storybook musical style, with both experienced and new guitarists taking inspiration from it. The album features 13 original arrangements that range from jazz compositions, to rhythmic and romantic songs.
The impressive style of the musicians blends Latin, jazz, and Middle Eastern. The two Grammy nominees have performed together since 1979 and have been instrumental in becoming influential in their mixed genre.
Hailing from Costa Rica and Iran respectively, Strunz and Farah have incorporated the sounds of their native lands into their compositions, which have influenced guitarists across the globe while gaining a big following.
