Austin is hosting the sixth round of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the only North American race in the series. Lone Star Le Mans will feature the most extreme cars in a six-hour-long race at the Circuit of the Americas track.

A hypercar is a rare, extreme supercar with top speed and acceleration, made from expensive materials such as kevlar, carbon and titanium that can cost as much as $2 million.
The LMGT3 category features race cars that must comply with specific Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) regulations such as weight and number of gears, and be designed by a manufacturer who is a partner of the ACO.
The Lone Star Le Mans takes place on September 1, 2024. Practice rounds and qualifying will be held on the previous two days.
