Next month, The Fine Art of Italian Cooking: A Tribute to Giuliano Bugialli event is set to take place in Austin.
This live cooking demonstration is inspired by Giuliano Bugialli, who was a culinary teacher, writer, and historian. He authored award-winning cookbooks, directed Italian cooking classes, and was a promotor of gastro-tourism, which is the concept of experiencing a culture by exploring its traditional dishes. Among many other honors, Bugialli was included in the 1986 Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America list.
Austin locals will be able to witness a two-hour educational Italian cooking demonstration event, which will involve dishes including fennel chicken, Florentine-style spaghetti, bread salad, and renaissance egg crespelle. Event hosts often promote demonstrative classes through flyer printing, so that potential guests have access to relevant details about the event.
This Italian cooking demonstration is suitable for anyone who is 18 years of age or older. Attendees over 21 years old will receive Italian wine with their meals. Admission is priced at $74.25 per person and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
The demonstration will be hosted at the Austin North Lamar Central Market from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, August 31. Attendees are advised to arrive at the event five minutes early to check in and leave a signature on a required waiver.
