Classic cars, trucks, hot rods, customized low riders and motorcycles will be featured at J. Colunga's annual car show in Austin. Presented by the El Barrio Car Club, it's a special 16th anniversary of the show, aptly named Sweet 16 and, for the first time, is moving under cover, so the weather will not be a factor for participants or visitors.
Automobile owners who take part in shows such as this often like to use printing services to provide literature that outlines the specifications and features of their unique vehicles.
Vintage car enthusiasts will enjoy a full day of browsing the diverse lineup of vehicles while enjoying music, family-friendly activities and games as well as on-site food and beverages. Deejays will be providing high-energy tunes, including music for a WEPA dance competition. No registration is necessary and spectators are also encouraged to dress in vintage costumes for a Zoot Suit and a pin-up contest.
There will be special awards and prizes for top vehicles, including a people's choice award, which provides the owner with a $500 auto parts gift card.
In addition to refreshment stalls, a variety of auto-related vendors will have booths on display offering products and services.
J. Colunga's Sweet 16 Car Show will be held in Austin on November 30, 2024 from 11 am to 6 pm at the Palmer Event Center, 900 Barton Springs Road.
