Festival to take over Franklin streets

The 42nd annual Main Street Festival will once again transform downtown Franklin this Spring. The gathering is expected to draw more than 120,000 attendees.

Produced by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, the event has been recognized among the Southeast’s leading community festivals.

More than 150 arts and crafts exhibitors are scheduled to participate, offering handmade goods from local, regional, and international creators. Organizers also plan to feature over 30 food and beverage vendors serving a range of options, from traditional fair selections to specialty dishes. Live performances will take place throughout the weekend, including acts on the Main Stage presented by Nissan and an acoustic platform supported by Corcoran Reverie. Additional programming includes dance, spoken word, and other cultural showcases.

Family-focused areas will return, including a children’s activity zone presented by Hope UC Nashville and a pet-friendly section backed by VEG ER for Pets. The pet area is set to include a temporary turf dog park, adoption opportunities coordinated with Williamson County, water stations, and themed photo backdrops. Downtown merchants are expected to remain open, offering retail promotions and dining specials.

Admission to the festival is free. Shuttle transportation operated by Franklin Transit will run from designated parking areas for $1 per individual each way.

Festival organizers like this one often use poster printing to reach local and out-of-town residents.

The festival is scheduled for April 25 to 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day along Main St in downtown Franklin, Tennessee.
