Franklin plans event for collectors and book lovers

A special event for book enthusiasts and collectors of various materials is planned in Franklin.

The Tennessee Book and Ephemera Fair creates a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where collectors and book enthusiasts can come together to enjoy their interests, enjoy a congenial atmosphere, and meet with dealers from throughout the nation.

The organizers will curate a select number of rare and collectible Books, maps, leather-bound sets, fine bindings, prints, Postcards, vintage volumes, and first editions, giving attendees a chance to examine these items at their convenience.

The venue for the event is the Factory at Franklin, which was a stove factory first constructed in 1929. The structure has since been repurposed and houses various eateries, artisan shops, and creative experiences. Liberty Hall, one of the spaces in the Factory, will house the event. The Factory is only a few steps from Main Street in downtown Franklin.

One of the exhibitors and experts already committed to the event is David A. Hamilton Americana Books, located in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and specializing in Civil War, ephemera, and Americana. New vendors are being added. Events like this benefit if organizers work with flyer printing to create handouts listing vendors and their products.

The Tennessee Book and Ephemera Fair July 25, 26, and 27. The hours on July 25 are 5.00 pm until 8.00 pm; July 26 are 10.00 am until 5.00 pm; and July 27 from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm. There is free admission on the last two days.
