Pumpkin festival confirmed in Franklin

A fun pumpkin-themed family event is coming back to Franklin.

The 40th Annual PumpkinFest is organized by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and is the biggest fall family event in Mid-Tennessee. The festival is held throughout downtown Franklin, extending along Main Street and some of the side streets, and is fun for people of every age.

PumpkinFest will feature food and drink inspired by the season, live music, arts, crafts, and costume contests for both pets and their human families. Vendors will be on hand with specialty and seasonal gift items. Over 140 vendors of arts and crafts are expected to attend, as well as more than 30 beverage and food vendors.

Hope UC Nashville is presenting a KidZone, where families will find age-appropriate activities, and Allied Global Marketing is setting up the Pumpkin Experience. Musicians will appear live on both the Main Stage and the Acoustic Stage, but the artists are still being finalized.

Adults can relax and sample beverages at the Whiskey Lounge, presented by Leipers Fork Distillery, while the Bavarian Bierhaus is planning a Beer Garden. Among the other activities that are sure to be fun is a pumpkin-carving contest, and cartoons will be showing in the Franklin Theater

PumpkinFest is scheduled for October 29, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm, with the people’s costume contest at 12.30 pm and the pet contest at 4.00 pm. Organizers of major events like this can use flyer printing to create schedules that can be handed out.
