A popular hamburger chain based out of Texas is growing, and Franklin residents will soon be able to enjoy food at its new location in town.

In-N-Out Burger, from Southern California, appears to be close to an opening for in Franklin. The chain is expanding westward, and the Franklin store is one of four new stores in Middle Tennessee. The restaurant is located at 1951 Double-Double Drive. The company’s red and yellow Signs are installed, and crews are putting final touches on the building.

The company is also building a corporate headquarters adjacent to the new location off I-65, near Berry Farms. According to vice president for store development Mike Abbate, the headquarters should be operational by late 2026. Flyer printing and other graphic design products help promote opening days.

The company recently made the following statement regarding the new store:

“Although we don’t have specific opening dates for the locations in Middle Tennessee, I can confirm that we will start serving our customers there by the end of this year.”

In-N-Out’s history sees Harry Snyder introduce California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand in 1948 in Baldwin Park and even pioneered the use of speaker Boxes, allowing people to order from their cars. The idea caught on, and over 400 locations later, the family business is as popular with its patrons as ever.
