Two more vendors will be coming to Gather COLA in Columbia.
Kiki’s Chicken and Waffle and Bessie's Burgers and More are the sixth and seventh vendors out of the nine available spots in outdoor food hall and entertainment venue. Gather COLA spans 32,000 square feet and has space for nine restaurants, a two-story bar, and three retail stores.
One of the Owners of Gather COLA, Doug Cross, expressed his excitement about these vendors and is looking forward to their joining the gathering spot.
Tryus and VonGretchen DonaWald are the owners of Bessie's Burgers and More. The shop is a tribute to their late grandmother, Angeline “Bessie” Nelson. They started their establishment as Bessie’s Sweet Delights mobile truck almost a decade ago. They expanded to a food truck three years ago and will be opening Bessie's Burgers and More as a restaurant.
The Donawalds expressed their excitement about bringing their Southern hospitality and signature taste to Gather COLA. Their restaurant will offer burgers, sides, and sweets.
Kiki’s Chicken and Waffle has one location in Columbia and will be expanding to Gather COLA. This expansion reflects their dedication to creating opportunities, supporting local neighborhoods, and sharing their home-cooked flavors and signature hospitality with more people in the city.
Such sites can benefit from banner printing to help promote such new additions.
Cross said that Gather COLA is expected to open sometime between the fall and the new year.
