Boat show to come to Columbia

The South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia will be the host of the Columbia Boat Show later this month.

Putnam's Harbor at Lake Murray is presenting the show, which is produced by JBM & Associates on the Midlands Boat Show Group’s behalf. It is planned as the primary destination for marine services and products. Some of the top boat dealerships in the region will be features, with new model leisure watercraft, 60 boating brands, and deals available only at the show.

Shows like this offer an ideal opportunity for participants to take advantage of brochure printing to provide more details about their products and services.

There will also be live entertainment that will include musicians New Nantahala Strings, Eric James, Ty Potter, Elliot Poston, Chris Reed, and Hampton Hook.

Captain Don Dingman will lead fishing clinic for the children. There will also be bouncy houses, face painting, a virtual boat trainer, and the ability to meet a bass fishing team. A variety of specialty items will be offered by local beverage and food vendors.

The hours of the show will be Friday, February 20 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday, February 21 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm; and Sunday, February 22 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Parking opens at 9:30 am each day and will cost $6.
