The project is near the intersection of Interstates 26 and 77 and is being developed by Magnus Development Partners. This project, to be known as Midway Flex, is the last speculative buildout in the park, which is over two million sq ft in size. Featured will be column spacing of 52 feet 6 inches by 50 feet with a speed bay of 60 feet, four dock-high doors, clear heights of 28 feet with an Early Suppression, Fast Response sprinkler system. The building will offer Class A space starting at close to 25,000 square feet.
Brochure printing is often used to highlight the features of such new developments.
Caroline Fawcett of Magnus Development Partners said:
“With Class A industrial vacancy below 2 percent and even more limited modern options in this size range, Midway Flex addresses a gap in the market. With a deep local labor pool and premier location, Magnus is excited to deliver Midway Flex and complete the buildout of Lexington County Industrial Park.”
Lexington County Industrial Park offers strong logistical advantages. Columbia Metropolitan Airport is about five miles away. This airport hosts the regional air and ground hubs for UPS, a transload rail terminal of Norfolk Southern, and FedEx Freight.
