Healthcare provider expands in Columbia

Lexington Health, one of the Midlands’ biggest healthcare providers, will be expanding near Malfunction Junction with a building in Columbia.

The Berkeley Building, which spans 77,000 square feet and is on Center Point Circle in Center Point Office Park, has been purchased by Lexington Health. This building is near the intersection of Interstates 20 and 26.

This office park is one of the premier office parks in the city and features an environment like a park with a pond and walking trails. There are Class A finishes in the offices in the building, and it has excellent accessibility being within minutes from downtown Columbia.

Jason Raven, a spokesperson for Lexington Health, said that this acquisition enables the healthcare system to move some of its administrative offices and expand space for clinical services which the hospital provides to better serve the growing community.

Healthcare providers like this can look to brochure printing to provide more details about services and other features that can benefit patients.

The property was purchased by Lexington Health for $16.1m. Allen Wilkerson and Henry Roe of Colliers | South Carolina represented the office park in the sale of the building. They are vice presidents in the office brokerage team, which specializes in landlord and corporate brokerage services and consulting, and also represents clients in the leasing and sale of office properties.
