Airline to offer new non-stop travel from Columbia
Spirit Airlines has announced that it will have three new non-stop flights out of Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE). These flights will be to Orlando International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Updates in new travel destinations can often be made known throughout a city and surrounding cities and towns with flyer printing.
Interim President, CEO and CFO at Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Gregg Hornsby, said that these non-stop flights for the airline are a major accomplishment for the airport, as well as a monumental achievement for the region and the community. He expressed his excitement about welcoming the team of Spirit to the airport and added that he is looking forward to seeing people take advantage of these special opportunities for travel.
Vice president of network planning at Spirit Airlines, John Kirby, also expressed his excitement about starting this service at Columbia in time for summer travel, and being able to deliver an exceptional value to some of the destinations on the East Coast that are the most popular. He added that travelers from the capital city of South Carolina will soon be able to enjoy these non-stop travel options and the recently transformed experience of Spirit to destinations that offer theme parks, beaches, and attractions of a big city.
These new flights will be starting Thursday, June 5 and offer introductory fares of $50 for a one-way flight through Thursday, August 12.
