Recovery center to hold inaugural gala in Anderson

The Bridge Center Recovery will be debuting its new fundraiser gala in September at the Civic Center of Anderson.

The Bridge Center's Inaugural Recovery Gala is a program where people can support and learn more about a local nonprofit that offers addiction recovery services for men. The event will include a multi-course meal from Sullivan's Metropolitan Grill and entertainment provided by Sam Bigby. DayDrinker Coffee will be offering zero-proof specialty drinks. The founder of The Bridge Center Recovery, Bradley Saxon, will give a keynote presentation at the event.

The Bridge Center is an organization that offers inpatient recovery programs for men who are 18 and older. The nonprofit's inpatient program can serve up to 24 men at a time, and the group's current capacity for transitional housing is 12. The center's main building was built in 2020 and has served more than 100 men since it opened. Other events held by the organization include the Run for Recovery and The Bridge Center Recovery's BBQ Fundraiser.

The inaugural gala will be on Monday, September 18th from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Tickets to the recovery center's event will cost $50 per person. People can pay $650 to purchase a VIP table for eight people. Nonprofit groups that hold similar programs to this may use flyer printing to increase awareness for their galas in advance.
