Split Creek Farm in Anderson will be hosting a yoga session in August to benefit a non-profit organization for goats.
Sunset Goat Yoga is an activity where people can perform yoga poses while interacting with goats that were born and raised at Split Creek Farm. A local photographer will be taking professional shots of the participants at the event to capture funny moments during the session. No spectators will be allowed to watch the activity. Guests can also purchase goods from the farm while at the program. Businesses hosting physical activities such as this can market their events by using flyer printing.
The non-profit group benefiting from the program will be Goats 4 Goodness. The organization was founded in 2016 by Sandra Coffman, who is also one of the co-owners of Split Creek Farm. Services offered by the group include transporting goats for grazing purposes and educating people on how to raise animals. Goats 4 Goodness also uses their goats for therapeutic services and outreach activities. Those interested in supporting the organization’s mission can donate online.
The yoga session will be held on Friday, August 20th from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost to attend the activity will be $40 per person. Half the proceeds earned will go directly to Goats 4 Goodness. Registration is required for the program, and all participants must register for the event individually.
