The organization Foodees will host another food fest at Anderson Mall in April, complete with new climate-related changes.
The Anderson Foodees Food and Culture Festival is an annual activity that creates a place where people can conveniently access several food trucks and browse various vendors. The event will have over 40 food trucks that sell dishes like barbeque and international cuisine. This year, the organizers plan to make the festival more comfortable for eventgoers by combatting high temperatures with extra shaded areas, more hydration stations, and an improved event layout.
Foodees Food and Culture is an organization created in 2022 to help organize cultural experiences that connect people and celebrate diverse cuisine. The directors of the company are Tricia Croft and Ron Kennedy. Croft is in charge of the organization’s strategic planning, and Kennedy works to expand the company’s reach. The group’s food festivals have been held in notable venues like the Maynard Community Center and the Smoky Mountain Event Center.
The food and culture fest will be held from April 19 to 21. Those who want to browse the food trucks and participating vendors do not need to pay a ticket fee to enter the festival. Registration is also not required. Merchants who sell wares at similar cultural events may bring Promotional Products to the fests to help them connect with potential customers.
