Food and culture festival to visit Anderson

Food lovers will gather for a three-day festival in August at Anderson Mall where people can browse food trucks and vendors.

The Foodees Food and Culture Festival is an event that brings together flavors from around the world for guests to enjoy. There will be many types of cuisine represented at the fest, including Caribbean dishes and Latin American street food. More than 25 food trucks will participate in the festival. The crafts stalls and food vendors will be divided into distinct zones for guests to explore. Merchants who attend cultural events like this may use banner printing to make their stalls easier for attendees to notice.

Foodees is a company started by Ron Kennedy and Tricia Croft that organizes cultural experiences. The intent behind the events is to create welcoming environments that connect people to different food and craft businesses. Many vendors have participated in these festivals, including Word of Mouth Catering, The Boba Bar, and the Funnel Cake Lounge. The company has also held events in cities like Augusta and Waynesville.

The fest will be held from August 25 to 27. There is no price for people to enter the Foodees Food and Culture Festival, and pre-registration is not required. Tented food and beverage vendors wishing to participate in the event can pay $150 for a space. Craft vendors may reserve a spot at the fest for $125.
