Next month, the 2021 Tricounty Down Syndrome Walk will be hosted in Anderson.
Registration is entirely free and is available online for people of all ages to join.
This Anderson event will include a one-mile walk, games, activities, beverages, snacks, and a talent show. Awards and trophies will be included at the end of the fundraiser. VIP attendees are all registrants who have down syndrome, and both the oldest and youngest VIPs will receive trophies. When hosting fundraiser events, poster printing is a common part of organizers’ planning process in order to create visually striking advertisements to draw attention to essential event details.
The top three fundraising teams or individuals who gather the highest donations in-person or online will receive a trophy, a professional photo shoot by Amanda White Photography, a mention in the walk’s promotional announcement for next year, and a VIP position in the 2022 walk.
This activity-filled event will serve as a fundraiser for A Night to Remember. The organization’s goal is to raise $15,000 for 2021. Crystal Holder founded A Night to Remember as a way to provide summer camps and activities for children with down syndrome, as well as children who are in foster care.
The 2021 Tricounty Down Syndrome Walk is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm and conclude at 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 17 at the Covenant Baptist Church.
