The yearly Food, Packaging, and Sustainability Summit is set to take place near Anderson as a virtual February event.
Sonoco FRESH and Clemson University organized this event together. In past years, this annual summit has been an in-person event. For 2021, the entire program will be held as a virtual event to adhere to required health and safety standards.
This three-day Anderson summit will focus on food production, packaging quality, and associated environmental concerns. Expert speakers will address topics on optimizing food production for sustainability, creating and utilizing environmentally friendly packaging, and discussions on how to improve food packaging and production practices. Participants will also receive the chance to network with fellow professionals. The hosts of similar conferences frequently include flyer printing in their organization plans to ensure that attendees have sufficient information on event goals and details.
There are three registration options available for the event. Clemson University students can sign up at $29 per individual, university staff can register for $49 per individual, while industry personnel can purchase admission for $129. Industry professionals also have the opportunity to register a group comprising five or more people for a discounted rate of $99 per person.
The 2021 summit is scheduled to proceed from Wednesday, February 24 to Friday, February 26 at Clemson University as a live streamed event.
