Anderson’s pets and their human companions will be taking pride of place during a special Halloween event that will raise funds for both animals in need and local cancer patients alike.
Whether they walk, slither, fly, or swim, all pets will be welcome to attend Howl-O-Ween in Downtown Anderson. There will be a variety of activities planned just for them, such as an agility course, caricature, microchipping, pet grooming, and photography. Contestants can strut their stuff in the pet parade and costume contest, and participating restaurants in the community’s downtown will be hosting Pooch Stroll events.
Along with all of this fun and excitement, there will be live entertainment, pet related exhibits and demonstrations, and everyone is encouraged to come in their favorite costume. The Cancer Association of Anderson, AC Paws, the Anderson County Humane Society, and the local dog park will all be beneficiaries of the evening. A variety of treats will be on offer for both pets and their owners, and a local printing company can supply promotional Pens and other printed items that can be handed out as swag during a celebration like this.
This evening of feathery, furry, and scaly fun will take place in downtown Anderson on October 27. Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the event can do so through its Facebook listing.
