The rummage and craft sale will hold a variety of items from different members of the community. The sale will be held in the Belton Recreation Department Gym.
The gym will be set up to accommodate approximately 40 vendors. Spots are available for rent, and the deadline to reserve is March 12.
Each spot is 10 feet by 10 feet, and costs $15. Vendors keep their profits, while the reservation fees will be split between the Belton Area Museum Association and the Belton Recreation Department to help fund youth programming.
Belton is about a 10-mile drive from Anderson, making it an easy trip. The rummage sale will start at 8:00 am and end around 1:00 pm. There is limited on-site parking. Those planning to attend should be prepared to walk and be prepared for crowds; according to event planners, past events have been busy, and this year’s sale is expected to draw a crowd as well.
Events of this nature often use flyer printing to help advertise and spread the word to both potential vendors and potential attendees. This event is put on by the Belton Area Museum Association, who also run the museum. The museum is open free to the public Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The rummage sale is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 16.
