An experienced instructor from Daily Bread Sourdough will host a course in Anderson that shows students breadmaking techniques.
The Sourdough Breadmaking Class is a program where novice bakers can learn useful skills from Lynn Addis, the founder of Daily Bread Sourdough. The class will walk students through making bread from the starter phase and have a section where participants can taste bread samples. Those in the course will receive a sourdough starter kit and bread recipe to bring home. Students who can legally drink can buy beer and wine at the venue.
Daily Bread Sourdough, a Pickens, South Carolina-based micro-bakery, bakes artisan loaves and sandwich loaves. People can find the bread at many businesses, such as the Grits & Grace General Store, The Willow Whole Health Market, and the Tiger Valley Farm Market. The bakery hosts several classes each year at venues like the P. F. Meat Company and The Collaboration Station. Both loaves made by Daily Bread Sourdough are vegan.
The breadmaking workshop will be held at The Kitchen Emporium and Gifts on Thursday, February 22nd at 6:00pm. Tickets to the course will cost $45 per person. There will be at least 16 participants in the workshop. Bakeries that offer community activities like this can bring Business Cards to the courses to promote their other classes and products to participants.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
