Anderson to hold county fair

The Great Anderson County Fair will return in May at the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center.

The Great Anderson County Fair is an exciting event where families can enjoy live entertainment and carnival rides. This year, the fair will debut four new rides, including the Auto-Bahn, Bouncing Kangaroos, and Runaway Train. Attendees can also see new performances like the Ready Go Dog Show. Other activities at the fair include an exotic petting zoo, pig racing competitions, sea lion performances, and magic shows.

The event will feature several daily promotions throughout its duration. The fair's opening day will let customers enter for free if they bring five non-perishable food items. There will also be a Senior Citizens Day, Teacher Day, College Day, and Student Day. Veterans will receive free entry to the fair on the event's Heroes Day. The final date of the county fair will have a Mother's Day Special where all moms receive free admission to the event.

The county fair will last from Thursday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 12th. Admission to the event is $10 per person, and kids ten and under can go in for free. Ride tickets will cost $1.25 each. People can purchase a Mega Pass by May 1st for $25 that gets them entry into the fair and unlimited rides on attractions for one day. Organizations that host similar county fairs may use banner printing to promote their family events.
