The McConnell Hall Plantation will be holding the first ever Oysters & Outlaws Festival in Anderson.
The CJ Garton First Annual Oysters & Outlaws Fest is a fundraising experience where people can support the Cavalry Home for Children organization. The festival includes a live performance by CJ Garton and Lori Lee. An all-you-can-eat meal will be served that consists of steamed oysters, white bean chicken chili, beverages, and desserts. People interested in a private experience with CJ Garton can pay extra for VIP admission to the festival.
The Cavalry Home For Children is a nonprofit association that provides shelter and helpful services to children who have suffered from abuse. The organization operates the Sarah Cobb McClellion Campus, which is a housing facility for foster kids consisting of five homes, an administration building, and vocational arts center. People can help the non-profit by giving it needed items and volunteering at the campus. Events held by the group include the Summer FUNraiser.
The oysters and outlaws festival will be on Saturday, October 8 from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Tickets to the concert and buffet will cost $50 for adults and $20 for children 12 and younger. The VIP experience with CJ Garton can be purchased for $100. Those who promote music fests like this can use poster printing for advertising the shows on community bulletin boards.
