Denver Downs Farm in Anderson will be organizing a special floral-themed, family-friendly event in June.
The South Carolina Sunflower Festival is an event offering guests tons of fun, flower-related activities. Attendees can take pictures at the many photo stations set up throughout the farm and explore flower exhibitions that showcase exotic plants. People can also clip a bloom from the Cut & Pick Field to bring home. Live concerts will be provided by musicians like Spencer Rush, Chris Stokes, and Louie Sagedy.
Many food and beverage stalls will be open at the festival, serving items such as sunflower sangrias, flower slushies, and flounder sandwiches. Guests can browse art at the vendor market and purchase additional flowers to bring home from the farm. Other themed items can be bought during the festival, including decorative buckets and flower pails. Businesses with stalls at community activities like this can stay visible by using Signs made with banner printing.
The sunflower festival will be held on June 19, 20, 26, and 27. Attendees must select a two-hour timeslot when registering for the event. The cost of admission is $25, which includes parking and access to all agro-tourism exhibits. Those who bring dogs to the event must keep them on a leash at all times. All dog-owners are expected to clean up after their pets during each bathroom stop.
