An investment of $2.5 million is being made by Tactical Medical Solutions to move to a new corporate office in Anderson. This facility, which is 25,000 square feet in size and located on 67 acres, is almost three times the size of the current site of the company.
The new location already has an existing building which will be renovated by the company to be part of a larger corporate campus and training center. Tactical Medical Solutions currently employs 19 people in administrative and sales positions, as well as assembly operations and order fulfillment. The expansion is expected to create 15 jobs.
This expansion is also good news for business card printing companies, which will most likely be called into service once the move is completed and all the new employees are hired.
Tactical Medical Solutions was found in 2003 by former Army personnel to develop effective, quality supplies and equipment for tactical and combat medicine. Its primary products are law enforcement and first responder kits for the domestic and international markets and kits and emergency response supplies to federal agencies.
All of the employees of the company are former tactical medical professionals or have a close relationship with them and so the company’s products are a reflection of personal experience with situations and friends that have been lost in combat.
